Excerpt from the translation of the Biblical Book of Esther Chapter 9 at https://www.sefaria.org.il/Esther.9.1?ven=english|The_Metsudah_Five_Megillot,_Lakewood,_N.J.,_2001&lang=bi&with=all&lang2=en
During the twelfth month, which is the month of Adar, on the thirteenth day of the month, when the king’s directive and bylaw were to be put in effect; on the very day when the enemies of the Yehudim anticipated that they would subdue them—it was totally reversed, for they׀the Yehudim׀subdued their enemies.
The Yehudim assembled in their colonies througout all of King Achashverosh’s colonies to assault those who sought their harm, and no man resisted them, for their awesomeness had descended over all the peoples.
All of the colonial ministers, envoys, and governors, and the imperial executive staff, exalted the Yehudim, as Mordechai’s awesomeness had descended over them.
For Mordechai was powerful at the royal palace, and his prestige extended throughout the colonies; for the distinguished Mordechai’s greatness flourished.
The Yehudim struck all their enemies with rapier blows, slaughter, and annihilation, doing as they pleased with their enemies.
We see the obvious that a change of personnel in the government of Achashverosh caused a dramatic shift in policy.
This idea is in the news again because recently President Trump has succeeded in getting confirmation for some of his more controversial cabinet picks (for example, Pete Hegseth and Robert F. Kennedy Jr.).
We will not make a prediction at this time how successful these cabinet picks will be. We will say though that Trump has greatly increased the possibility that his policies will be carried out by making sure, what he considers the right people have the authority to carry out the job.
Knowing people who have been damaged by USA government Covid policies, we hope in particular that Kennedy, the new Health and Human Services secretary, will go after the Covid villains as much as possible.
Time will tell.

Addition #1: Kennedy’s appointment does have the drawback that it weakens the Pro-Life movement. The positions advocated by Kennedy when he was running to be president on abortion go against the moral code incumbent upon all mankind.
Addition #2: In defense of Trump’s appointment, it should be pointed out that when Kennedy dropped out of the race and endorsed Trump, Trump’s chances of being elected greatly improved. If Kamala Harris had won, the pro-life movement would have taken a tremendous hit.
Trump must have felt that he had to pay back Kennedy supporters with a cabinet appointment for Kennedy.
Let’s also be honest. Trump this time around did not run on a pure Pro-Life platform. He simply said each individual state in the United States should decide policy on this subject. Indeed in April during the election year, Trump had already stated he would not endorse a national abortion ban. Therefore this issue was basically a lost cause this time around. Maybe the moral climate in America will improve in the future and then we might obtain stronger Pro-Life leadership.
