Comment: One should take care not to sanctify objects for Temple use, that is to give them the status of “Hekdesh” in our times, because the rabbis worried that would lead to halachic issues of “Me’ila”. If one wishes to set aside an object for possible Temple use he or she should contact the Temple Institute about the proper halachic way to avoid the “Hekdesh” issue discussed above.
