The Palestine Liberation Organization’s (PLO) Central Council has voted to officially suspend recognition of the State of Israel until Israel recognizes the “State of Palestine” along the 1949 Armistice Lines, known to some as the “1967 borders” — the lines that were in place on June 4, 1967, the day before the Six Day War.
The announcement was carried by the Palestinian Authority’s official WAFA Palestinian News Agency.
In addition, the PLO Central Council also voted at the conclusion of its two-day meeting in Ramallah on Monday night to suspend security coordination and economic ties with the State of Israel, as set forth in the 1994 Paris Economic Protocol.

Comment by Shlomo Moshe Scheinman: Our so-called “Peace Partner” M. Abbas head of the Palestinian Authority once wrote a doctorate denying the Holocaust. On one occasion in the recent past, he went further to explain why the Jews deserved to be victims of the Holocaust.
At the outset I never supported the goals of the so-called “Peace Process”. But even for those that like the idea, I condemn them for taking reckless “Las Vegas” gambles of life and property to make agreements with anti-semitic fanatics who can not be trusted to keep anything.
Could Abbas Still Be Bribed to Come Back for More Negotiations?
The Jewish Press article I quoted, goes on to contend that Abbas still has the power to cancel the Palestine Liberation Organization’s (PLO) Central Council vote. But so what? If he doesn’t cancel the agreement because he gets some bribe, he will do it at some other time when it fits his convenience. He is not someone that rational people can trust at all.
