it is reported that Trump has pardoned a sailor by the name of Saucier that was given a jail sentence for taking pictures of the submarine he worked in.
The thankful sailor said he wants to sue the Obama Administration because his damage to national security was much less than Hillary Clinton’s email scandal, but she was let off, without any punishment, while he had to suffer in jail.
If Trump pardons Pollard, Pollard can pay him back by also saying that he did much less damage to US national security than Hillary Clinton did with her email scandal.
Pollard could raise the question why did he spend more than 30 years in jail and even after that period he continues to be subject to a form of house arrest in New York while Hillary and Obama (who also had a role in the email scandal) have gotten off unharmed.

In any case if Trump finds a totally different justification to pardon Pollard that will be okay with me. But politicians often need to be shown what benefit they will get to choose an action that is different than those who were ruling the country for the last few decades.
I would also add that it is not clear to me that we have heard the last of Obama and Clinton. Both Obama and Clinton have law degrees and in theory could be appointed at some future time to the USA Supreme Court and do damage with Judicial Activism from that institution. Although this fear might be a reason some would suggest keeping quiet about the Clinton-Obama Email scandal, I am still willing to take this calculated risk, if that’s what is needed to free Pollard.
