If the Anti-Judaism Parties Unite – They Have Won the Elections in Israel
It still is unclear what type of coalition government is going to emerge. But one thing the religious parties have to take into consideration right away.
The fact that the religious parties did not receive the Divine Assistance to win the easy way means that spiritually they have to fix something in their conduct or their ideas.
It is too early to tell what will be the long-term results of this election.
The prophet Amos chapter 3 states: Will a shophar be sounded in the city and the people not quake? Will there be evil in the city if the Hashem has not done it?
It is time for each one of us to come up with a reasonable explanation for “the evil in the city” in order to find a workable solution to the problem.
Meanwhile let us not forget the dangerous threat to Israel’s security has not gone away. In the past, the security situation has prevented the Anti-Judaism parties from uniting.
One of my personal takeaways from this election is that more emphasis has to be put on limiting who is allowed into the country under Israel’s Law of Return.
